Enabling USB storage on a Mac while running Jelly Bean

Enabling USB storage on a Mac is possible, but an extra download is needed to make it work.

This FAQ will describe how to set up the Android tablet, as well as your Mac, so you can transfer or delete files from your device using your computer.

1) Go to the "Settings"  menu and tap "Storage"

2) Tap the menu button (three stacked squares in upper right-hand corner), then tap "USB Computer Connection."

3) Tap "Media device (MTP)", then reboot the device.

4) Once your device has restarted open a web browser and go to http://www.android.com/filetransfer

5) Then click on Download

6) After it downloads, follow the directions on how to install and use it

Enjoy!
