Tips for getting the best results with the Market/Play Store.
The Market/Play Store now hosts more then just apps. You can also search for games, books, music and movies. However, with all of these options it can be difficult to find exactly what you're looking for. Here are some tips that might help when searching the Market/Play Store.
When you open up the Market/Play Store, you will see the following four categories: "Apps," "Music," "Books" and "Movies"--on the middle-left side of the screen. Start by selecting the category for the item you are searching for.
Once you've chosen the category, if you have an idea of what you are looking for, click the magnifying glass in the top-right corner and type in some key words. Hint: Keep your search vague unless you know the exact name of the app you want.
When the search results come back, take your time and find the one that sounds like it will best fit your needs, since it might not always be the one at the top of the list. We suggest selecting one and then reading the full description and reviews to see exactly what the app offers. You can also check the sections for "Users also viewed" and "Users also installed" to see similar apps.
Once you do find an app that meets your needs, install it and give it a test run. If it is not exactly what you want, uninstall it and start the search over again.
