If when trying to load an app from the Market/Play Store and you receive a message that says "Could not be downloaded due to an error"' try these steps to fix the issue:
From the home screen press the menu button.
Click "Settings" and then "Applications". From here choose "Manage applications".
Tap the "All" tab at the top of the screen.
Find and select "Google Services Framework"
Press the "Clear data" button.
A pop-up window will appear notifying you that you will be deleting the application permanently. Click "OK"
Now, touch the "Back" button at the bottom of your screen.
Find and select "Market" or "Google Play Store"
In the pop-up window, press the "Clear data" button.
Click "OK" when the notification pops up alerting you that the application's data will be deleted permanently.
Turn off your device by pressing and holding the power button on the upper left of your device. Wait 10 seconds and then turn your device back on. You should now be able to download apps from the Market/Play Store without any problems.
Note: If you get an error message saying, "Server error retry", try turning your device off and on until the store works.
