Changing superuser permissions in Jelly Bean

Last Updated: Mar 16, 2016 12:02AM EDT
If you're having trouble with superuser permissions being denied or allowed that shouldn't be, you can change this simply by following these steps:
  • First, open your app drawer (circle with 6 squares on most launchers).
  • Then tap "Superuser."
  • You should now see apps listed under either "Deny" or "Allow," depending on the permissions currently granted. Find the app whose permissions you want to change and tap on it.
  • Then on top of the screen, tap the smiley/frowny face icon. This will change your permission.
